We reaffirm our commitment to our partnership with you

Dear sister and brothers in Christ
We want you to know that we the people of the Central States Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are deeply concerned for you, our companion Christians in the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of the Urals, Siberia and Far East as well as all parts of Russia and Ukraine as well. We realize that you are all suffering the affects of the events in Ukraine in many ways and we think of you and pray for your constantly. We want you to know that we do not want this to weaken our companion church relationship and that we will do everything in our power to maintain and strengthen our partnership in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ for the benefit of all of God's people. Wepray that you will also continue to count us as your faithful companions in our journey as followers of Jesus. I am sending this email to everyone for whom I have email addresses. Please share this message with our many other friends and partners in Russia. God be with us all and guide us through this terrible time and bring us to a place of peace.
